Our Mission

There are approximately 700,000 registered security guards within Kenya. A majority of the guards are employed on contract basis and whose salaries are below minimum wage scale. Thus, their salaries can hardly cater for their day to day needs. This compromises the education and future of the guards children, some of whom are very bright! This led to the establishment of Soja Education Trust to:

(i) Provide scholarships, educational materials and resources to deserving students whose parents are security guards

(ii) Partner with organizations and institutions to enhance access to quality education to the beneficiaries
